Is this serious, or another retirement? We have an 89 draft about to start, and I need to know if you are truly done so that your team could be advertized.

Not referring to just you. I hear retirements all the time to the point it gets old. With progressive teams on the line, I just don't want owners to be disappointed if I give away their team, and they have second thoughts later.

I never retired either....but i did bow out of some leagues and take a break from it all. I think this is a MUST to maintain sanity. However, Arvid never came across to me as having A Sanity in the first place) Take a break......and get your *** back.....LIVE is DEAD and cant afford to lose players

Sure, take a break...easier to do with theme leagues. But, if you wish to remain in progressives, you need to give more communication than "I am done." Crappy stuff has happened to all of us, but most of us get through it. I have taken such breaks for almost a month at a time every summer, but have provided the necessary communication to the commishes. Does "I'm done.....Replace me in any leagues I am committed to and any and all can feel free to take over my theme leagues. Done" mean that I should be looking for a new owner for a draft about to start?...or does it mean, "I am ******...just sayin' I hated what happened to me" Again, arvid...last time you had computer issues, one of your progressive teams was taken away. Don't want the same issue a week from now in ours. An owner is happy to take your current team. Are you truly done, or just ********?

I disagree that live is dead achilles, and that doesn't help attract new owners either. I haven't had any issues finding games, and in many leagues live play is high. Leagues have been hard to fill, but can you blame it? With so much complaining these days you would think that it is a horrible product. I have held the same enjoyment as before, with minimal crashes of late....and if one does, it is like a rainout...if it is very close to finishing, alot of owners around here are good to throw the next game or send a ticket to support. I personally enjoy this product, and have minimal complaints.

regards to my retirement-i never b!tched at verynice. i gave him the obligitory gg gs and was out. i never assault my opponent. i complain here and there. if i am being incessant with my b!tching, i apoligize later. i don't think the sim creators are jealous or whatever joshkvt mentioned something like that to me before when i mentioned some research i had done and was bouncing idea off a few owners, wasting time more or less, (mxw6 personally gave me some good info/thoughts regarding all that) and then mentioned that same line in the cryer thread, so i figured i'd mention that here, whether his comment was aimed at me or not. the crash put me over the top. sh!t ****** me off, not worth the aggravation for me at this juncture or whatever. peace to everyone here i like

Sorry to see you go. I will miss playing you (even though you beat me most the time) You where online a ton at the wierd times I have a chance to play games to help me get the min and get a break from work/kids/wife. I hope you miss the game and do come back. Thanks for the games.
