It would be nice if you sign a player without using the FSS service, that once he's yours you would be able to see his potential in the different categories.
Is this ever been discussed before as an enhancement if there was enough demand?

you can get a good idea on potential from scouting trips plus during the season..when the assistant coach recommends adjusting practice time.

Coach, just flew back from my evaluation visit of Lawrence Yother.
Anyway, knowing what I know about DIII basketball, here were some of the observations I jotted down as I watched him play:

- Definitely wasn't the best athlete on the floor - with the right lifting/conditioning program, he could improve.
- Decent timing for blocking shots - very little room for growth.
- Fantastic rebounding instincts - I don't see any upside here.
- Above average student in the classroom and on the court.

Hey Coach, just my 2 cents, but I think we could better utilize Cipriani's extra practice time by focusing on something other than rebounding - he just doesn't seem to be making much more progress there.

Also, between the 1st and 2nd exhibition games you will get an email from your AC listing each player's growth potential. It will say either limited or big. If a skill is not listed then it is considered to be average.

The pre-season email that you get around the second exhibition game tells you the potentials for every player. If they don't list the potential for a category it means he has average potential in that one.
