Team Under Performing Topic

I have a team that i think is really under performing and i can not figure out why. It is Div II st martin in smith.

I am running a motion with man to man defense. my team has an avg of 580 and i just lost to a sim whose avg is 510. I know that doesn't mean everything, but they are 2-7.

I would appreciate someone site mailing me and reviewing my team and giving me ideas. it is driving me crazy

Think you need to get better in the Rebounding department, outside of Boyd & Norris, you dont really have anyone that can grab the boards for you, so late in the games when those 2 guys are tired, your going to get killed down low.

But it seems that your teams is doing alright for themselves, you have some young guys that are getting some decent amount of playing time and until they develop their IQ's they will struggle abit.

I'm sure some of the vets here will be able to break it down more for you tho.

One thing that comes to mind is that you started the season with Collins at SF. His REB and DEF are low and as a freshman his IQ is low, but he may be your best option at SF, perhaps Kelton may be better, or maybe go with 3 big men.

The last 2 games (including the one that you mention against the sim) you have started Mason at SF. He is way too unathletic and has even less in terms of REB to play SF.

Another thing to keep in mind, if you are going to stick with M2M, you may want to recruit better DEF ratings (although it may not have affected things much this season yet). Your freshman are pretty low, unless they have high potential.
