are draft picks tradeable?

No. And players can't be traded until their 2nd season.

ok dang. is 10 mil enough for 4 good 1st round picks
6/5/2010 6:52 PM
It should be. Once you hit the comp picks, they're usually less than a mil each. But be careful because, if you draft a "probably won't sign", he'll ask for more than slot money.

what is slot money? were he is picked? and is probally wont sign is that a message ill get from my scout? Also what sould I expect to look for in a good first round pick?

Look at past years' drafts for your league to find out slot money for each draft pick and budget accordingly.

its season #1 and were almost all noobs. sorry i am asking such easy questions but I seriously have no idea

I would highly recommend a very conservative draft approach. That will get draft results with guys who will sign for "slot money". If you go with aggressive you might get more talented players but, they may want a ridiculous amount of money. I would go very conservative and spend a good deal of time ranking the top 50-100 players. With four first round picks I would not be surprised if you got four of your top twenty players.

what do decent rookies players look like?
6/5/2010 7:11 PM
The best draft guys are probably 2-3 years away from the major leagues.
