Anyone interested in a league like this-

Draft 5 players >2600 minutes each. 1 player from each "decade":
2000-current
90-99
80-89
70-79
up to 69

Bench consists of 5 un-drafted players (1000 minutes minimum), 1 from each time period, and 2 undrafted from any era (max 400 mins).

Players are unique to each team. You must use the player for the decade drafted -00's Shaq can't be used if you drafted Shaq for your 90's slot.
Draft example:

Rnd 1
owner a: Wilt -60's
owner b: Kareem 70's
owner c: LBJ 00-'s

Just to clarify - you wouldn't have to draft the decades in any particular order so long as you covered each time period during the five rounds?

And once one owner drafts, say, Chuck Nevitt, then no one else can use him?

And it's a minimum of 2600 minutes for each of those 5 draftees?

Wheredo the other 7 players come from.....or do we use clones of each of our players??

Foxx, after the first 5 rounds, you can use any un drafted players for your bench. Forgot to put that in the OP.

However another idea might be to use 5 bench players from the 5 time periods.

Gotta say I'm surprised. PPL would rather line up to get slaughtered in Gym Rat than try something a little different. No reason that 24 teams would not be equally competitive. I get sick of seeing the same players league after league.

Yeah, I was wondering if you'd consider extending the concept to the bench - something like you need to have at least one player from each of the time periods.

I like the theme idea and would be in.

I like it. I'm in. I agree with brad, 5 bench players covering the 5 decades and the last 2 scrubs.
