Is AI done? Anyone think he can reinvent himself and help a veteran team over the hump?

Theres really no reason for him to come back unless he really needs the money. Hes done as an impact player of any kind and his ego wont let him be anything else.

Its too bad kinda..I know there is a lot of negative with AI, but even though I'm a diehard Cuse fan I've always found myself rooting for Iverson...I think he got a raw deal as a teenager in that bowling alley, I'm glad JT honored the scholarship and let him go to G'town, and I loved it when he joined Melo on the Nuggets...he's always been such a tough player, its kind of a shame to see him limp out of the game...

I agree with both of the statements above.  You might not like the dude for the way he carries himself while he's off the court, but I don't think anyone can question his heart on the court.  Might be the toughest guy to ever play in the NBA.

Very tough, and I loved him as a player.

That said, his conduct and selfishness in his last couple stops have tarnished his legacy. The Pistons were quite literally a better team when he wasn't on the court, and it's somehow managed to go downhill from there.

I would also tend to agree with this post.
