How often does an ineligible recruit go JUCO after signing? I'm torn between 2 recruits...the ineligible one  is a little better prospect

I don't think I've ever had an ineligible go JUCO at DII.

I had 1 go JUCO out of about 4 that I've signed. I tried to go back after him this year because he was considering me right away but he wound up signing with a D1 school.

I just had a D2 ineligible recruit go JUCO on me in Allen.  I spent a good amount on him also.  I'm not sure if it would have helped or not but maybe I should have offered him minutes.

That sounds about right.  I've only had 1 go JUCO on me.

But... going JUCO is not necessarily a bad deal... you can rerecruit him next year (he'll already be considering you on 1st cycle) and sign him for $110 (1 call and a scholly offer)... assuming no one else recruits him.

I offered minutes to the player when he went JUCO on me juan so I don't know it would have made the difference.
