I know that I was able to do this last season, but it seems that teams loaded with seniors in DIII are simply
dominating. I know DIII seniors have an slight IQ and ratings advantage, but I think it is working far too well for teams who find themselves able to start 4-5 seniors. Last year I had a slightly above average class of 6 seniors, and led my team to a
1 loss regular season.
Losing all 5 starters, I definitely over-scheduled my non-conference games for this season, but I did not expect these results while playing senior-loaded teams.
Game 1: 31 turn-overs (10 by my senior SF), and only shooting .338 against the press by a team who was not overly great in spd or ath.
Game 2:
BLOWN OUT by a senior-loaded pressing team, only shooting .339 with so many things going wrong, just click the link.
I understand I could (should) lose both these games, but I'm frustrated by the number of turnovers from players with decent IQ and passing ratings, and I just can't explain the horrible shooting across the board.
Anyone else noticing senior filled rosters dominating games? Also, are the results above normal considering the two teams?
