Honestly, this doesn't look that awful to me at first glance - to use the obvious comparison, do you think Hartford is THAT much worse than RL Northern Iowa?

Easily explained in the global warming data if you look hard enough.

Did you take a look at the rosters?

YOur frontcourt got in foul trouble and cooper took advantage.

I have to agree ... one game examples just aren't that compelling. Almost anything can happen in one game.

The real question(s) is whether (a) we see a lot more of these games than we should and/or (b) results over a whole season are really skewed.

A is very hard to measure, other than gut feel. Although I wlil say if that if there is an overwhelming majority of similar gut feelings among vets, I would consider that extremely compelling. B is much easier and would present evidence that would be concrete and pretty hard to argue with.
