Need some Commis's input .... I have several teams in my league who are not fielding complete teams example no catchers no SS and so forth I asked them to fill all rosters. One owner said it wasn't his responsiblility but WIS's AI to field the team.He is using all his money on his ML team, Has any of you Commis's ever had this problem before????? this is my 9 th season and have never had this problem before

I'm not really one to get too worked up over the minor leagues, although it's just good form to field a full roster and not let fatigue issues be a persistent problem.

But I'd be pretty troubled by an owner who displayed that attitude to a legitimate query.

If his problem is tht there arent any minor leaguers available to fill his rosters or he has no salary money left even to sign some minor league FA's, it is at least a somewhat legitimate issue - but just saying, "not my problem" -- find yourself another league next season where you wont be the league's problem either.

I don't get all excited about minors because if you let me send 62 to the plate in a game, I'm getting more playing time.    So, as long as the games are played, I don't worry too much about.   Although, quite frankly, it annoys some other league owners. So, to me, a commish has to say something to the worst offenders. 

That said, I think the guy was trying to tell you he didn't make any moves.   I believe he's saying SIMAI made the moves you were referring to.  And, with that said, SIMAI was making the moves in hopes of fixing his rosters.   Tell him to sign a few more minor leaguers(which I don't think he can) so SIMMY will stop making 50 moves a day.

What's the deal with Tryout players? Are these active again or still inactive? Just curious because I've been gone a while.

Pitchers are available in Tryout Camp.  Position players are not.

I am new in this world. Actually I like this world and am going to stick it out no matter what you do or don't do, simply because you actually care about the problem. That says a lot.

What these guys do is not really against the rules, but at the same time it's not realistic. And that's my major objection. How many minor league teams would you see with ten pitchers icing their arms before every game? LOL But that's what happens because they end up with 10 pitchers all at zero and it sucks.

Some guys care about the minor leagues a lot because they are rebuilding at the ML level and it ruins the game for them to a certain extent. Honestly by the end of the season I may be one of them. Not sure how I have stayed in contention this long but my team is probably not gonna stay there.

Give him a warning to fix the minors. If he doesn't find a replacement.
