Will my 11/11 third baseman in the last year of his contract accept a pre-spring training trade to a team that had a worse record the previous season?

Only one way to find out.  Make the trade offer.  If you are able to make the offer, then yes.  If it won't let you offer, then no.  At least that is what I have been told.

Have to wait until budgets are finalized before i can try to build it, which kind of defeats the purpose.. was hoping someone knew definitively...  I suspect that he will decline it, just never been in this situation previously.
