Lol wow, I have the best resume in div II and am not qualified for any div I schools because I cut a player. Is this really a joke? I am already in the top 10 in div II nt total wins, I've made it to 4 NT title games with 1 win and yet  I can't even get a D- school? 

Is this in Iba where you have the poor rep?

I am also not qualified for any div II jobs, and over qualified for every div III job. Looks like not 1 school is interested in getting one of the best coaches iniba.

Yeah, I cut 2 players last season to balance out my class. Both moved onto to div I and one to a bcs school. In my 22 history I haven't had anyone fail, transfer or anything. Up until I cut them I was qualified for every school other then 4. I even put in apps at bcs schools I was qualified, but didn't get the job. I just think its funny that I could go from everyone wanting me to nobody wanting me just because I cut a player.

Seems a little extreme,  but it looks like you have a drinking problem too from your photo.  Time for rehab.

Seriously though, I never realized that a player getting bad grades is a small hit as well until it happened to me a few seasons ago.  Then I cut one play and dropped in loyality and I was annonyed because I have cut ONE player in my WHOLE miserable career at that school and had ONE ineligible player.  But I agree, the overall body of work should matter WAY more than a few cut players and one ineligible player this season (looking at Caldwell).  Is that the team you are talking about?

Yeah, that is the team. He is a redshirt, so I didn't think him failing out would hurt me - still don't. I never give redshirts any SH minutes. My rep never dropped anymore from it, so if it hurt it wasn't anything big. It was just from cutting the players. I don't get how I went from any team to no teams just because of that. Not even the very worst div II team isn't interested in me.

I sent in a ticket. I'd really love it to get passed onto seble and hear any reason why it is so extreme. I could understand some schools not wanting me because of it, but every school? The worst div I schools who have been sim ran into the ground wouldn't want a coach who has won multiple titles and several other NT game apperances? Not even a low end div II school would want me? Makes no sense. Hopefully it gets fixed, or seble can come up with a real great reason to why it happened. 

Ive had really good luck with cs lately so I hope you do to.

Serves you right.  You want to say that it's ok for promise-less players to gripe and leave and adjust your roster accordingly, then you deserve to be in the **** that you're in.  You've rubber stamped the process...tough luck...

This is one of those things where Colonels will swear he's right when he's 100% wrong. There is no way every school will say they don't want you simply because you cut players. In fact the vast majority of schools wouldn't even care there may be a couple that have concerns about that but I seriously doubt it would stop anybody from hiring a coach.

yeah, and CS won't give me a real answer. All I wanted for them to say if that this is right. That based on rankings, this has been the #1 dynasty for a long time. In the last 10 seasons, we have been to the title game more then any other coaches - 4 times. I had every school wanting me, now nobody because of a cut player? I mean, not even schools in my own division that have been ran into the ground. Its pretty laughable.
