Last Chance for Next Week's Draft! Topic

This unique and challenging progressive is entering Season 4 and we are in need of 4 new owners to start our draft and get the new season under way. First the league rules....

20 teams/4 divisions/4 playoff teams
No cap
No WW
No DH
No Clones
4 draftable AAA (optional)
Unlimited DL (player must not be in sim to qualify)
Interleague play? Yes.
Alignment will be geographically based

Instead of playing with only one year for all players, we use 2 different progressive years for different positions as follows-
PLAYER POOL:

Catchers: 1924, 1984

Corner Inf: 1934, 1994

Middle Inf: 1914, 1974

Outfield: 1894, 1954

Pitchers: 1904, 1964

WILD CARD: 1944, 2004

Draft pool/positions: Each position will be represented by the seasons indicated above. Available player lists will be provided, and they will be the FINAL WORD on who is available and who is not. If they're on the list, you can draft them, if they're not, you can't. ELIGIBILITY will be determined by PRIMARY POSITION only. Secondary positions will not have any bearing on a player's eligibility.

Wild Card: One Wild Card pick each season may be from any position or pitcher from the two seasons listed above.

Below, I will list the rosters of the available teams. Teams available on first come, first serve basis.

I think Bob Friend should be 64 not 54?

Great league btw.  Can I take a second team if we put them in opposite leagues?
9/15/2010 1:20 PM
I'd like to return and I'll take San Francisco
9/18/2010 3:41 PM
Glad to have you back.  3 more and we can start the draft
9/18/2010 9:33 PM
I'll babysit the Flushing Franchise for a season if you'll swap divisions with one of the other teams.
9/19/2010 2:24 AM
Taint is down for Flushing. Harrelson, let me know if you decide on a team. We're almost there.
9/21/2010 1:21 PM
Down to one team left!
9/22/2010 3:30 PM

Great league.  Hope we can get that last guy soon.  It's the Super Progressive for a reason.

10/7/2010 6:38 PM

Down to the final spot.  Who will it be?!?

10/9/2010 10:25 PM
MMTDad has claimed the last team.
10/11/2010 10:51 AM

Due to nin311's disappearance, The San Francisco franchise is open once again. The draft can start almost immediately once the team is claimed.

not exactly expressing interest just yet but....

can cuts be made from the above roster or do they all have to be kept?

standard draft style? pick number for SF?
10/18/2010 2:20 PM
I'll take the SF franchise
10/18/2010 2:54 PM

Welcome aboard, shawbigred. I will get you set up in the forums and you can post your keepers.

Standard draft style of worst record to best record each round. You can make any cuts you want to the roster. We have a AAA draft of four extra players. The first 25 players you keep, count towards your main roster. SF has the 4th pick this year.

Edso, if you are interested in either Flushing or Boston, I'm sure Taint or MMTDad would be happy to hand it over to you, since they were just babysitting them to get the season started. Flushing has the first pick this year and Boston has the 16th pick.

Welcome aboard edsortails with the Flushing team. The league is ready to roll and will begin drafting by Monday, but if anyone else wants to get in here, they can take that Boston team over from it's current owner. It's a good team.
