Lose Type A/B Designation Topic

Players lose their Type A and B designations when amateur draft prep starts right? I thought it did but when you roll over the player name it still says Type A free agent.

It's either when the draft prospects are available to view or after the draft takes place.  I can't remember which one.

It's when prospect lists drop; that fixes the draft order permanently.  Click on the negotiate link for the player, and you should no longer see the type A/B language in the notes box.  If you do, send a ticket.
