How can I have more then 40 players on 40 man? Topic

I have 41 players on my 40 man roster during the season - why does the game let me do that? Is it a bug or some major league rule? i did have a player return from the DL but it let me add him back to my ML roster without a problem.

Things like this generally happen when simmy makes a move.  Did you sign an IFA to a major league contract after you already had 40 guys on your 40-man?

It's a bug - I'm not sure how it happens, but it's happened to me before as well.  Just take someone off the 40.

You remove a player on the 40 from the 60 day DL.   That's how it happens in season.    During rollover, and I think they changed this, any player who was on the 40 the previous season, cleared waivers and was removed from the 40, was added back to the 40.
