Outrecruiting a SIM Topic

Is this still realistic after the latest engine update? Back in the day it used to be incredibly easy to knock a SIM off a player you were looking at, these days I can drop $20k without even getting a guy to consider me. Thoughts? Tips? Anything would be helpful... Thanks.

realistic, sure. but sometimes its easier to kick off a human now.

yes it is realistic but you need the prestige advantage and a huge reason to go after that one particular player.  It took me 30K to get simmy off of a top prospect in DI and I had an A+ prestige and the kid was local.  It cost me other battles but you need to be willing to lose other players in return for that one simmy player.

I knocked a sim off the then #2 SF in DI.  Of course my whole strategy was one player, so it was like 70k on the first cycle.

I just did it with 2 of them and it didn't take much.  On my GT team Maloney and Doyle were both considering Simmy, and I got each for not too much.  Maloney cost less then I planned and Doyle more.  But I was still able to get my top PG and am working on a battle for a 5 star SF.
