i know for sure it was a year in the old forums.  cant guarantee that for these though

i asked them to pin the list index thread, and they did, but they said don't edit the first post or it will become unpinned. so i didn't. but when i edited another post it unpinned it, too (i sort of have to, each update gets its own post at the beginning so people don't need to go through all the non-list posts at the end). maybe that is fixed in the new forums? i guess its worth checking, ill see what they say

In the old forums, it was approximately 8 or 9 months...not sure about the new ones.  I always checked in the old forums (search last 12 months) and never got anything older than 9 months.  I guess WIS is trying to simulate gestation, but who knows...

Someone asked me to repost a humerous piece where I compared recruiting to my love life.  I wasn't able to find the original post but I think it was about 12 months ago
