I offered what I think is the max contract to a player - $10M bonus, $20M/5yrs, player option and NTC - and got this reply: My client can really see himself becoming a part of your team, however, you will need to increase your offer for it to actually happen.

Did I miss something in the offer?

And, just FYI, the NT clause does not add value to the contract unless he specifically demands it.
