Can a D2 team with A+ prestige win a recruiting battle against a  D1 BCS school (human coach and B- prestige) or should I move on?

Not unless you spend maybe 6-8x more.  And as a D1 BCS coach, I would expect to spend $1500-$3000 on a nobody backup I don't care about.   $3000 if I want him to redshirt.

That's what I thought.  Glad I didn't have a ton invested in him.  Already have plan B lined up.  Thats guys.

I would agree with Girt/Daalter.  If he really wants the player, it's time to move on.

I not sold completely.  Jeff, billyg almost beat wvirginia for a player with his d2 team last season in tark.  I dont know all the circumstances butI do think it is possible just unlikely.

Kmason the wvirgina coach even said that if billyg would have done a visit or 2 more in one cycle he woulda got the guy.  I think timing, luck and a little skill all play rolls

He signed immediately with the D1 school at 8:00.  At least I didn't waste anymore money.  Now I'm in another battle.  Gotta love recruiting.

If the B- DI school actually wanted the kid, there is no chance.
