Anyone care to take a look at my BSC team in Smith and suggest an RS between either Baldwin and Coombs. I really want to RS Baldwin bc he has only 24 WE and an extra year of practice can help him out alot, but it looks like I don't have the back court depth to not play him?

I know w/o their potential it's hard to gauge, but both guys are high in most areas from what I remember, with Baldwin being high-high in speed.

I'm into my 6th or 7th season and asking things about how to run the press, something I have never done before, and how to set distro (which no one answered), and how much depth I need to have at a position to avoid fatigue (which is a serious issue). Just trying to figure out the sim engine like I did in in GD and runs into ahole like you. nice...

angmar, it's jackass responses like yours that frustrate new players and help prevent HD from growing. Nice work.

tiany, to answer your question, I think you're fine redshirting Baldwin. If depth is a considering for anyone, it would be Combs, as most of your bigs have weak stamina.

I'm gonna keep Baldwin since he accepted it already, and gonna swing McGlade into SF spot 3rd on the depth chart, and swing my other SF into SG backup slots. Hopefully McGlade's bh/passing ability won't be too much of a hindrance on offense.

Why does it get your dander up to have someone ask opinions?

More like lack of advertising that keeps HD from growing, if you want to be truthful.  But as long as YOU'RE still on your crusade for " I only want what's best for HD", (which is one of the longest running "jokes" going, by the way) I guess it's all good for you to throw in your share of jackass responses to threads (and before you say which ones, read ANY thread involving you and Colonels) and not be held to the same standard, right?  Like those petty arguments help bring in new coaches, right?  Spare me, oh high and mighty one.  But I must ask, how IS the view from  the top of YOUR pedestal as the response, post, and frustration police?

And by the way, Angmar is an alias of mine.  I generally go by Emy or Dcy.

emy, i really don't see the need to call the OP out like that. most coaches ask too few questions. i haven't read the forum for a few days, but i have no recollection of seeing the OP over question. if they were over questioning for a few days, thats a non issue. its not like he/she is on here every day for the past couple months asking question after question.

You've been very angry lately, regardless of the alias. Ever since you were injured ... aren't pain meds supposed to make you happy?

But to answer your question, the view from up here is excellent. Very enjoyable.

And I know you can appreciate the difference between me sparring w. colonels when he's being a jackass and you biting the head off a newer coach who's honestly seeking help. The two are night and day. And no, I never just blatantly rip apart new coaches asking for help.

Baldwin... If he is high/high in speed, that ath/speed/def combo would be great in div III. Also, if he is high in at least BH/passing he will be a very good guard at that level. Combs will be solid, but nothing special even with a redshirt unless he happens to be high high in ath/speed, and high in reb as well. Even at 24 WE baldwin should improve enough.
