0 in the ACC and Big East... apparently the other conferences got tired of getting beat down by the East Coast.

Without looking at the teams involved, my presumption is that's much about geographic recruit generation and that more than half of the DI schools (nonBCS) generating recruits in the area are sims and pose no competition--let's call that high noncompetitive density.  Execpt for Los Angeles (UCLA and USC) and LSU, there is much less noncompetitive density.  It ain't rocket science.  Could be baseline prestige as well.

I think Emy, aporter and myself wouldn't mind a few more recruits south of Maryland.  Just transport the Chicago area to North Carolina, it's not like they are using the recruits anyway.

I think a big part of it has to do with what's been done to mid-major/low D1.  I'm sure some coaches would want those jobs.  Just aren't qualified for them because of changes to recruiting, Sim AI teams, etc.

I think with all these openings, there should be a new wave of d1 coaches coming along pretty soon.

Has the Tark ACC done anything in the last 10 or so seasons?

Besides poaching each others recruits, acquiring the best coaches from other conferences and flaming out of the NT with talented teams in the S16-Title game... no, not really.  But I'm sure we'll continue to cause trouble in Tark, especially now that the 3rd/4th year guys are ramping up their teams... including Duke getting back on track.
