I am looking to trade a player who has recently gone through the arb process with me for the third time, and is no longer willing to resign (no surprise). However, I am thinking of trading him, and the potential new owner wants to know if the player would be willing to resign with a new team.

Does anyone have any personal experience with this situation?  Did the player become willing to sign an extension after being traded, or did his demands remain the same?

I had one - he wouldn't sign an extension that year.  However - during the one day FA period during the next season he was willing to sign with me but I didn't offer and he went FA.

I traded for a player that was arbed three times by his previous franchise.  He wasn't willing to sign an extension with his previous team, but he signed an extension with me.  this guy   Note the high patience and makeup ratings.
