Hey guys, I am at my wit's end with this game, and was hoping somewhere here could point me in the right direction. So over the past years, I have really worked on improving my systems and gameplans but this year has been the most miserable year ever. It is my most talented team, with an absolute once-in-a-lifetime stud DIII player, and I can't win. I need help.

My team is Tufts, in Phelan, and I've tried everything from switching defenses, lineups, everything. I just can't figure out how I can be losing so badly. Any advice would be appreciated because if I can't win with this team (I realize they aren't Championship caliber but they should be Sweet 16 from what I've gathered), I might as well give it up.

Thanks in advance, and please feel free to be brutally honest.

Well to start, running anything other than motion/press (where your guys have decent IQs) has probably lost you some games already.  That's not a good kind of experimenting to do...

Thanks for confirming that. I only switched out in one game and actually kept us in the game against a decent team, but I've realized that I am sticking with the Motion and Press for the rest of this year. Any ideas on what I can do from here on out to at least salvage a winning record?

Your fouls are killing you. Your opponents are hitting 10 more/game than your team. That's a big handicap for any team.  Since you're quit running uptempo, it's been better, though.  I think the combination of uptempo/press creates the most fouls.  I rarely run uptempo with my pressing teams.

I've sent more ideas via sitemail

Your big men dont have the stamina's to run uptempo AND the press.  You should be running either normal, or even slowdown imo.
