Wow.  Can someone please look at my John Jay team in Knight and tell me what happened in my game against Wisconsin, EuClaire?  I was favored by 52, but lost by 2.  Was this a stroke of luck for the SIM team, or were my guys that bad?  I did commit too many turnovers, and missed more 3's than normal, but are there other things here that I am missing??  If I can't beat that team, who can I beat?  A little perspective would be nice.

WIS is not good at making point spreads.

if WIS made an accurate point spread, then you could figure out which lineup is optimal.

i think WIS looks at the overall rating for both teams as part of its way of making a spread.  the team you played has at least two walkons.  therefore, in addition to whatever other errors the WIS linesmaker is making to inflate the spread,  it is underrating the other team bc of those walkons.  That team is better than its overall rating.

Also, the Sim AI team had the fatigue advantage for the entire 2nd half.

The point spreads are atrocious, especially in the early games of a season.   I can't even remember the last time I looked at a point spread

It has been proven for a couple weeks right here...(by people who know everything),,, there is NO variance nor are there upsets in the game it's gota be you.

No wait,,, my bad.... I almost forgot what I learnt this week.... the games broke... send a ticket... yet that's it.... no other explaination possible.

PS. all serious aside... you don't have a single player with an IQ above B in your offense.... your gonna have some bad nights until that gets better. (and should).

Stamina.  It was mosty about stamina.  The slower, less athletic team had more stamina.  You had a first half lead, etc.  You win the game going slow down.

I just looked at the boxscore and the team composition...that was ridiculous...you had no business losing that game...I'd say you were screwed.

Just a bad game plan with a team on the road. You beat yourself there. You wore yourself out vrs a press team. You were basicly a 3 man team and they forced a lot of TO's. Go normal, spread the distro out a little more and sub more often and this is a non issue. Wouldn't call it an upset when the coach blows it with a horrible game plan while on the road.

Shut up with this already, upsets happen get over it. He lost by 2 points, it's not like he lost by 30. He has horrible offensive IQs nobody over B as was already pointed out his defensive IQs are only ok, these games will happen when you have crappy IQs. Does he win this game 95+% of the time, sure but having a <5% chance to win means you still have a chance to win and sometimes the team with a very little chance of winning will get the win.

Gotta go with furry in a less dramatic way.  Better gameplan and you win.

I think its time for a profanity laden email. That usually solves the problem.
