If you're new to a world, it will help you get a feel for spending habits of the other owners.  Of course, if you're new to a world and that's what you want to know, a few clicks isn't a bad thing.

What about a "Newspaper Headline" or "Newsflash" that showed up in everyones Inbox telling who signed, for how much, length of contract and options? Maybe it could be a digest of the day with several signings in each. Probably the digest is a better delivery method so as not to clutter the Inbox with dozens of individual Headlines.
