Can a nonqualifier who then transfers stay for his SR5 season - so long as he gets the right GPA?  I'd assume so, but have never met this

Yes.. I saw it at dIII once... the guy was a dII inelig transer and he got a 5th year, even at dIII because he started at dII.

Yes, I had a player a few seasons back with my st Bonaventure team in the same situation and he returned for his 5th year.
