Strength of Schedule Topic

Ok

I have played two teams that are in the top 10, two teams that are in the top 10-20 with my SUNY Potsdam Tarkanian world team and my strength of schedule is 251. The other teams in my division have not played close to the caliber of the teams I have played

I can understand variances in a actual game but how the hell could a strength of schedule make no sense

Am I missing something

It's right because you played three gawd awful teams (344, 360, 378), and two of those were at home.  You also played two other teams in the 200 RPI range.  All of those are SOS and RPI killers.

It's easier to destroy a SOS by playing a really bad team than it is to help a SOS by playing a really good one.

SOS = 2 parts combined W-L record of your opponets and 1 part combined win-loss record of your opponents opponents.

it is pure arithmetic - nothing subjective - its just a lot of adding multiplying and dividing
