These are my 2 starting guards next year.  I had always intended Raynor to be the SG as he has better Per and BH, and Chambers has better passing.  But now I'm thinking Chambers better Reb, LP and Ath might make him the better SG.  Any thoughts?

It's a close call, but I lean slightly toward Chambers at SG

I don't really like Chambers at all, but I agree with al, it is a close call.  I'd actually lean the other way though, and say Raynor should play at SG.  But that may just be because I'm biased toward Chambers.  That and I've had some nice success (at DII and DIII) with PGs who can rebound.  I really don't like Chambers' speed at all though.  Still, I'd say Chambers at PG and Raynor at SG (imo, Raynor is the better scorer), but I honestly don't think flipping it around would sabotage anything.  Just my two cents. 

its close enough that your best bet is to put raynor against the weaker defender, if applicable, and if not, to put chambers against the better scorer.

in the event the above results in a tie, i would put chambers at pg mostly bc of his passing. scoring wise there is little to no impact of who plays at which position, at least with per shooting (not really sure about lp, haven't seen enough sample size to know if it matters if you are playing the 1 or 2 - if it does, it might put chambers at SG).

I agree with Billy's first paragraph - Raynor is the better offensive player and Chambers is the better defender, so you could mix-and-match them.

But as to the second paragraph, I think Raynor's superior SPD and BH make him a slightly better PG (despite Chamber's edge as a passer).

well davis, if i had to pick one to be my pg, and had a totally different sg, i would probably pick raynor too. he is the better player. i just feel like it is more likely passing gets a boost for being at the 1 over the 2, where as spd is a wash IMO and bh probably as well. i always favor bh at the 2 personally but that is based totally on the role of my 2 being a shooter.

I had Raynor starting at PG the last 2 years as Chambers was backing up one of the top scorers in school histpry.  Glad to see that coaches alot better than me think it's a tough call, so I know I'm not crazy to be unsure about it
