Alright, last year although I had budgeted over 4M for a top fielding coach and was bidding on multiple ones, they all ended up signing elsewhere and I got an awful one 54 rated. This year I was not shooting for the top ones and ended up in the same spot. Only one remains, and I have been the top bidder for this guy through all of free agency basically. I started getting nervous and upped my offer quite a bit and was again the top bidder, but he won't sign dammit and I'm sure I'll get screwed again.
My questions are these(now that the rant has subsided)
How many cycles (if any) in the lead until these bastards sign?
If you up your bid does that "restart" the clock on them signing?
How crappy is it that others sign for less when there is a shortage in (what sounds/seems like) every world EVERY YEAR?
Why not just budget some development money to your farm system so we can all have decent fielding coaches, etc if we are willing to pay?
GRRRR
