Okay, once again, seriously ****** off. A  B reputation (why? I have no idea) and i can't even get a job at a school with a prestige of a D!?! The logic of hiring is totally out of line.

I have been a very consistent and decent coach and just looking to make a conference change. Am very tired and frustrated at this. But really expect nothing less from WiS.

I had myself settled on the fact my dream job would be too high a prestige for me yet again. Because of this I had two fall back options in a more competitive conference than i am in right now. Both of those, one a B prestige, the other a C+ prestige say I am not qualified. But the kicker is the third opening in that conference is a D prestige without a winning record in many season. Even they will shove the door in my face. The only openings are in ghost town low level conferences that I wouldn't go to coming from DII.

This is asinine and so unlike the real world it is no longer funny.

I may never have won a damn thing in this game but I have been a consistent player under several alias for many many years. I love this game, but I may be gone after this one season expires. To my conference mates right now, if UMBC looks like a sinking ship, it just may be. My schedule should be strong enough so my RPI doesn't tank too bad this year.

My guess is that your reputation took a hit when your redshirt freshman failed to maintain a 2.0 and became ineligible for the rest of the season.

I have had problems with academics before, but do not ever recall seeing prestige take that big of a hit, especially for a redshirted player. But it does not surprise me one bit by your statement godmaker. Another one of the remarkably narrow focus of the hiring process on here.
