i know it's a different situation than your guy...is it's just a throwin category for you at this point, but i think it's definitely worthwhile to take a chance on guys here and there as your 12th man as long as the rest of your team is strong enough. sometimes you can get a good player even if the cores start out low, as long as they have high WE and you can confirm high high potential
granted this guy isn't quite in the same boat because he didnt start at 1, but he started in single digits in both rebounding and low post, but had very high athleticism, defense and work ethic for D3. i thought with a redshirt and patience i'd get one good year out of him before he graduated.
instead, with a redshirt and halfway into his second season of play he's having a big impact already...and still has 2.5 seasons to get better. his rebounding is almost maxed now...and is still a little low for a PF, but his LP still had high potential coming into this season and figures to be well into the 70s or 80s before it's done.
