12 Players, 12 Seasons (12 decades)
120 Million Salary Cap
For those who have experienced the thrill of drafting in the 16x16 league (originally created by bheid408), this is a similar, albeit different type of challenge.
This is a 24 team league with a 120M salary cap. Each owner will nominate a player that has played at least 12 but no more than 15 wis-eligible seasons* in their career. A player will be associated with only one decade and that decade will be determined based on number of seasons* the player played during the decade. If a player played an equal number of years in two decades, then the owner can choose which decade to associate to the player. Each decade will be represented twice... the owner who firsts nominated a player for the decade gets placed in the NL. The second owner who nominates a player from the same decade gets placed in the AL. (Exception: If the position is already full in the NL, then we'll move the player to the AL). The players nominated can be from any league (no AL/NL restrictions).
* Note that if a player played 11 seasons, but played for 2 different teams in one season, that counts as 12 seasons (and thus the player is eligible) and similarly if he played 15 seasons but played for 2 different teams in one season, that counts as 16 seasons (and the player is not eligible).
Once all 24 players are nominated, we will hold a draft. Each owner will draft a different season of each player nominated (within their league) to be on their team. So all 12 teams will own the same 12 players, but each with a different version of that player.
For player nominations, we'll need 6 hitters and 6 pitchers. Since a batting lineup consists of 8 hitters, there will be two positions that aren't selected. That's where the teammate rule will come into play (see below).
Upon signup, list your player and site-mail me which of his 12 seasons you are going to take. I will choose my player after at least 10 owners choose. Once all 12 players (in each league) are chosen, I'll post the seasons selected and the draft order. We'll have an 11 round draft (within each league) to select the other 11 seasons used for each player. Draft order for each round will be based on the cumulative salary going into that round (lowest salary drafts first).
Here's where it gets interesting! The remaining 13 roster spots must be filled with teammates of your drafted players but EXACTLY ONE TEAMMATE IS ALLOWED PER DRAFTED PLAYER. Only your originally nominated player will use TWO teammates, so choose wisely. The teammate must be from the same season. No Twisting. Players chosen in the draft are exclusive by season so they cannot be used as a teammate. If you draft a player season with 2+ teams, you choose which version of that season (combined or partial and which team) you want, and can only take teammates from that team. (This is how a player with 11 seasons, including one multi-team season can be allowed.)
Finally, the stadium you play in must be the same stadium your nominated player played in during the year in which you are selecting. If that stadium does not exist in the WIS database, then choose a stadium your player played in during a year closest to the year you selected.

Random alignment within each league
Note: The idea behind the different eras is to minimize the number of overlapping teams/years for teammate selection.
