Same reason my guy is...fluctuations in performance over a players career.  I'd expect his career numbers to be better than what he's doing now.

Maybe he's been facing too many lefty pitchers?   He may not be killing the ball with the bat, but it looks like he has been lights out for you in the outfield, so its not all bad.

Also, he plays in St. Louis which is -2 to all ballpark ratings, so that could be hampering him too.

He's hitting .294 with 5 HR vR in 119 AB, .171 vL with 2 HR in 76 AB.
