I have a position player drop to 92% fatigue.  I put him on rest for the next 3 games and he goes up to 93%.  This is unrealistic.  Any position player in baseball gets 3 days in a row off, they are back to 100%. Giving a position player 2 weeks off to get back to 100% is extremely unrealistic.  Please explain or fix.  Thanks

Some MLB players will say they're never 100% again by the time ST ends.   I haven't been 100% since I was 12.

Nonetheless, it takes a reasonably long time to get a guy to 92%.    Instant 100% isn't realistic either.      And, because injuries are less frequent in HBD, I think the fatigue numbers are used to "represent" minor injuries instead of "out 8 days with sore oblique".    It's WifS' way of telling us that players shouldn't play 158 games every season.

That makes sense, but does the player play at 92% of his ratings?  That is my assumption, which is unfair to position players.  There has to be a better way to show fatigue or players playing through an injury at 80%, actual ML players play 150+ games with no real fluctuation in talent.

I don't know if we've ever gotten a definitive answer on that, but I don't think that's how it works.  The fatigue makes them more prone to injury, and it may affect their performance some.  But if a player is at 90%, I don't think his 80 power rating gets treated as a 72.

I don't think that's the case.    IOW, a 100 doesn't become a 92.    I don't play my guys into the low 90s so I don't have any real data.    But I've played against teams that are all 92% and they still win games.   The only thing I've really noticed, and it's in the minors(because I don't play fatigued BL players), is an increase in injuries.   It seems that most of my minor league position injuries at 97% or less.   I'm sure there's some small performance penalty for fatigued players but I don't think it's big.

That said, I don't think we can say MLB players play 150+ games with no change in performance.   That's just something that can't be measured.
