If I apply for a job at school X, but decide to withdraw in hopes for another school to become available, does that mean I will not be able to reapply for school X if its still available?

The answer is Yes, you can reapply with no penalty. 

If you apply for a school at the next level, will your current school show up on the jobs available list during the current job opening period?

I couldnt find the other posts about jobs and didnt want to spend all night looking...

...but i was checking out my job prospects in Phelan (no real desire to move anywhere, just seeing what was out there).

A couple things I found amusing:

A) I was listed as a longshot for about 10 D- and D D1 jobs (currently coach a successful D3 coming off a Final 4 appearance).  However, I was not qualified for anything else...including several D and D+ schools that have overall player ratings lower than that of my D3 team (and they didnt have walkons!)

B) Everything at D3 was listed as a lateral move.  Everything, and I mean everything at D2 was listed as a step backwards.  Huh?!

Anyway like I said I'm not complaining because I had no intention of leaving...it just struck me as somewhat strange.
