Only if you care about the fielding development of anyone in your organization under the age of 27.

A good fielding coach is important, but don't spend $7MM on one because you wanted a fielding rating of 85 instead of 65.  Just take the 65 for $500K.

Agreed. But i saw one owner try to get clever and hire a pitching coach for his fielding coach. It wasn't just that progress flatlined, but players from LoA to ML dropped in skills, in some cases dramatically.

i was sorta thinking of taking one that isnt that great but say real young with good loyalty

Fielding Instructor influences both your major leagues and minor leagues.  Probably the single-most important position among all coaches for an organization.

sabres-- your Major League FC is the person most responsible for the fielding development of your minor league prospects.  Don't short him unless you have no position prospects in your system and don't plan to draft any.

thanks i did not know that i dont have many loaded with pitching prospect but i don't want to short change the ones i have or the ones i may get. this is gonna be an adventure getting a decent one. there are only a toatal of 19 fc above a 60 so that leaves a bunch of teams with total crap.
