Game 1 of a playoff series - Wendell Ducey was at 68%.  His auto-rest was set to 85, however simmy decided that he should start game 1.  Furthermore, he pitched 125 pitches, making him a 0(0) after the game.  Any idea why it did not skip him?  I had a starter in my rotation at 100%.

I had this problem before when I was having my #1 starter skipped and support told me it was because he was under his auto-rest, so im not sure why that wouldnt apply here..

I believe the auto rest thing only works if you switch your settings to have the AI run your big league roster. I'm not really sure though, did you have your other starters assigned to thier positions?

I dont think that is true.. I ran into this before, when the same guy was skipped because going into an off-day he was 75(100), meaning after the off-day he woudl be 100.  It skipped him anyway.  I opened a ticket about it and this was their response...

This is not a bug, it is working as intended. Your next scheduled starting pitcher is set at the end of each game. It will go through your rotation and select the next pitcher that is above their auto rest. It is independent of the schedule so off days are not factored in.

I've experienced this as well.  This should be explicitly stated in the help manual.
