every conference has 12 teams mostly for fairness, ergo some teams are displaced

It's not for competition fairness, it's for scheduling and so everyone plays games almost everyday.

once again that makes my point, upgrade the little things. MIRROR real life. If 16 teams are in real life it should also be in WIS. If a coach doesnt want to coach against 15 other teams in a conference then do not apply for a team in that conference.
you're gonna have to trust me, it's a lot better the way it is.

You sure you really want that? So D3 and D2 should have the RL playoff system?

To a small extent I think it's also for competition fairness, although more so for GD than HD.  If all else is equal, the smaller the conference, they easier it is to win the CT and make the post season and win credits.  Plus, a coach might spend a long time in a conference he really likes, then get moved to another one because it happens in real life.

See my post (page two) about the real DII and DIII system.  Determine if you want to program that (imagine the programming to end up with equal games with different conference sizes, programming new CT seeding/routines...)- or play a game with more unequal conferences/chances at every level.

Mimicing RL would with these conferences would be a nightmare.  Consider the former Middle Atlantic Conference, DIII.  It's actually made up of two conferences, the Freedom and Commonwealth.  Since it's founding, 50 different schools have been members, including 37 at one time! Who wants to set up that schedule??

1) In July , 2005, Juniata, Moravian, and Susquehanna announced they were leaving the Middle Atlantic for the Centennial.
2) Four months later, before they'd even played a game in the Centennial, those 3 schools decided to form a new conference with Drew (from the Freedom), Goucner, Stevens Tech, Catholic (from the Capital) and U.S. Merchant Marine
3) The new conference was to be called 'the Conference of 8".  Three months later, the name was changed to Landmark.
4) In March, 2006, despite promising to stay in the Landmark for 5 years, Stevens Tech bolted to the Empire 8.
5) To replace Stevens Tech, the Landmark raided the Freedom and took Scranton.

And, what about the schools that go from DII to DI or, in the case of No. Carolina Central, back again after 2 seasons?
