If I redshirt an academic non qualifier during his first  eligible season (sophomore), will he still play a complete 4 years for me?  Essentially, this means the player would have attended the college 6 years, and 6 seasons will be on his chart, but he wil have only played 4 seasons.
I understand that ACQ might not want to redshirt his sophomore season, but i am going to try.

Sorry, but not possible. Many years ago you could redshirt an academic ineligible but it has been programmed out. So... if the world is sucked into an abysmal blackhole vortex of utter doom before the season starts I will know who to blame, zruc57. Good luck!
