Does that mean like low post moves, or is that more of like how good of a finisher the guy is?! Been wondering that for a long time.

It used to mean playing with your back to the basket. Now it means in the paint.

if you want a guy who drives to the basket, or who plays with his back to the basket LP is important...

best thought of as inside v outside scoring I think - not sure what the line is, but I imagine it as LP is inside say 10 feet and PER is outside 10 feet or something like that

The higher the LP the more likely a guy will score points.  It's an offensive attribute that pretty much helps all positions at least some.
