Minimum Win Requirements Topic

I recommend that minimum win requirements be built into the game.  Something like Coop 55/125/195/280.  It adds to the realism (what owner is going to keep a poorly performing GM) and severely reduces tanking.  You get booted?  Start over with a new team in that world (or a new world).  Give a one-year grace for new players.  I think it should be a standard component of the game.

While I think those numbers are sheer genius for worlds with experienced owners, they don't apply well to other worlds.

That said, I do agree in principle that something along those lines should be in place.   The current WifS-endorsed anti-tanking rules are laughable.

And not easily enforced.

It might be fine but don't throw realism around unless you think all MLB teams win 280 over a 4 year span.

I'd say teams that MLB teams that win less than 280 over 4 year spans probably have some changes in managers and/or general managers.

MWR should be left up to the commissioners to establish and enforce.

There are probably a number of worlds where some owners/teams routinely fail to meet the 55/125/195/280 thresshold.  But if the 32 owners in that world don't seem to mind, then no harm, no foul.  It would definitely be a 'tard world, but they need worlds to play in, too.

I don't think we need 'tard worlds.  We want competitive worlds.  More fun.

I disagree.  "Tards want and need 'tard worlds.  So do the n00b rapists. They fill a niche and generate revenue for WIS.

As long as we have strong, competitive private worlds with good commishes who can establish and enforce MWR, the rest of us have a place to play.
