First let me say I am not trying to be a hater, I have had many good experiences with CS and up to this point they have been very helpful to me.  But this one is just ridiculous.  We have a situation where a team is in clear violation of our Private World Rules, and in my original note to CS I put both the rules and the violations in it, along with a thorough explanation.  I get this response, "Thanks for the note. Rookie ball hasn't started yet and his Low A team is playing .500 baseball. Where are these Rules 2 and 3 that you are saying that he is in violation of published?"

Does anyone else have a problem with this?  What is the point of having Private World Rules if the CS people don't even know what or where they are?  And another thing that irritated me about this post is that the team in question has win totals of 10-40, 12-38, 8-42, and 7-43 at ML through HiA.  But his LoA squad is sure ok!  

So I submitted another reply, but this one really gets me going. 

What are the rules?

Low level support.   Keep sending tickets and you'll get an acceptable response when they bump it up the ladder.    It may not be the response you want but it will make sense.

The real problems started when CS wrote back:

I can't find an HBD World named "Figgins"

I know that it's low level support.  It's just really frustrating that they aren't up to date on the updates for their games, esp. one that has major CS implications like private world rules.  

Burnsy: The rules are what are agreed upon and adopted by private leagues if they choose to give them greater control over how their leagues are run.  In most instances it is to combat tanking and ensure that owners maintain their franchises.  In my case in Cobb, we have an owner whose team is sitting at 10-40, has refused to answer any of my trade chats or even open my sitemails, and has let his team go to the SIM and lose players by not assigning them after trading/signing for them despite logging in almost every day.  That activity is in direct violation of the competition rules we put in place, so it is my right and responsibility to enforce the rules that Cobb World agreed upon and have his team stripped and transferred to another owner before the damage gets any worse.
