Question about Pitchers coming in as Pinch Hitters Topic

I've seen Pitchers come in as Pinch Hitters a few times (whenever all my position hitters have already entered the game in some capacity).  I have a question regarding how the Sim chooses the best *hitting* pitcher to enter the game as a PH.

Let's say I have 3 candidate pitchers for the Sim to chose from in an upcoming PH scenario where no position players are available.  Let's assume that all other available pitchers are absolute crap at the plate and never even got on base for their simulated statistical season.  All 3 of these pitchers below have more than 50 PA are obviously valuable with their bats.

Candidate Pitcher #1 = .308/.341/.462 ... ('75 Forsch)
Candidate Pitcher #2 = .239/.443/.269 ... ('24 Shocker)
Candidate Pitcher #3 = .269/.331/.556 ... ('49 Lemon)

Okay ... how does the Sim chose one of these pitchers to be the PH?  What criteria in the Decision Tree is used?  Does Park Factors come into play?

And finally, if some of these pitchers are suffering from fatigue issues (due to prior starts), will that affect their ability to perform at the plate as well as determining whether they are the best PH option?

....

Thanks!

my guess is Sim uses the same criteria for pitchers as they use for hitters. Fatigue is a factor. L/R matchup is a factor. I don't know if park factor matters. The pitcher must be in the starting rotation, RP never pinch hit from the bullpen.

That's interesting.  I've seen where 2 comparable good hitting pitchers were available to be chosen as PH.  And the Sim chose the slightly better hitting pitcher even though his fatigue was at 79% where as the other slightly worse hitting pitcher was at 98%.

I would've thought the Sim would chose the less-fatigued pitcher to hit as his percentage-adjusted batting performance would've trumped the more-fatigued pitcher.

Fatigue isn't a factor to my knowledge.
