I sent a letter and got the "you are a back up option" message.  After sending 10 scout visits I am not being considered and I got this message:

"I told my mom how much you wanted me to play at xxxxx and she told me just to be honest with you.  I really don't think I will be playing for you next season, I just think my other options look more appealing at this point."

Obviously I have not pulled him down yet.  Do I still have a chance and just need to send more scouting trips?  Thanks in advance.

If you have only sent 1 batch of 10 I would try another and see what he says. It can take up to 35 or so

Pulled down 2 players with similar messages in d3 recently. Took 14 and 12 scouting visits with a b- prestige and both where 250-320 miles away. Did promise start and 15 minutes. Good luck. Double that if your in d2 or1
