Let's say you had a point guard in DIII with Perimerter, Ball handling, passing and speed are all 60+ with an A IQ in the offense your team runs. Let's say you had a Center with the exact same attributes as the point guard. Would the point guard do better at PG position or would they both be equally as good at the PG position?

Presuming all the ratings were the same, yes.

I thought there was a penalty for a player playing more than 1 place away from his natural position, so a C playing PF would see no penalty to his attributes, but a C playing SF, SG or PG would.  Did I dream that up?

There used to be such a penalty, said penalty is no longer in force.  It was removed in a prior update.

Does height play a huge factor in this game? thats something I've been wondering, even if that PG and C have the exact same ratings, but the PG is 5"11 and the C is 6"10 who would play better at PG

height is window dressing. it is irrelevant.

Height is back figured into the original ratings(Or the original ratings help determine height, was never sure which) But height as an individual item has, as I understand it, no effect.

Well.  Think Muggsy Bogues, if they are fast little suckers they just run under the dribble and get steals!

so a 7-2 center with a 80 rating in rebounding will rebound the same as a 6-5 center with an 80 rating in rebounding (assuming all other attributes are the same)?  that makes no sense.

It makes no sense to you that 2 guys whose rebounding ratings - a rating that tells you HOW GOOD THEY ARE AT REBOUNDING - are the same (and whose other ratings, specifically athleticism, are also the same) will be equally good at rebounding?  If there were ratings telling me how good 2 people were at the same thing and they were the same my general expectation would be for them to be - gasp - the same!
