what does height actually do? Topic

I know that a players height is related to their attributes but I didn't know if it helps in games as well.  Like a 7'1 center is playing against a 6'5 center with the same attributes.  I would assume that the 7'1 center would have an advantage in rebounding and scoring as he's 8 inches taller, not including longer reach.

bob, there is no difference in game. the only difference of height is in recruit generation. so in your example, the two players are identical

Height is loosely tied into the ratings - on average a 6'7" G will be a better rebounder than a G who is 5'10".  In terms of gameplay - it is purely cosmetic.

 Q. Will a 7'0" C with 70 LP have an easier time scoring than a 6'4" C with a 70 LP? "With all other ratings being equal" I was told before that height didn't have an effect it was just the ratings.

 A. I think the only adjustment that could be made is to account for extreme differences in height. In general, the rating accounts for their height. So you can look at your example like this: the 7'0" player may only be a 50 LP if he were 6'6" instead.
