Trade Screen Display All Players Topic

The trade screen should show all players, even those just drafted/signed. Just don't show the "add" link for those that are new and can't be dealt yet.

I like being able to see all of my players there, as well as those of my potential trade partners.  Also makes it easier to plan for a potential trade next season.

Every dumbass in HBD, and there are a lot of them, will bombard WifS with "I want to add Jimmy Joe to my trade offer but can't.  Why?????" tickets.

So instead of an "Add" link next to these guys, you get a "Not eligible" link.  If you click on that, you get a pop-up explaining that first-year players are not eligible to be traded.

Seems like a harmless change.  Doesn't really add much value, but doesn't hurt anything either.

That might work.    Of course, you'd have to train the dumbass to click the link.

The only real advantage is seeing an owner's future depth.   You might be able to convince them to throw in a 2nd year player because they drafted his replacement in the current season.   Of course, because players don't "lock" into positions, the only true argument would be for C/1B/LF-types.    Everyone else can play somewhere else.

Or you can just open up the team depth chart in a separate window/tab. It's really pretty easy.

The team depth chart doesn't contain the standard compliment of ratings that the trade screen does. It would be nice if the trade screen displayed these players.

Oh I got what you're saying. I thought you were talking about the depth chart in the trade window. I was talking about using the Team Depth Charts from Reports because every player is listed. I do not think I have used that "list" to trade since the depth chart was added to the trading process. I think that way is very inefficient.
