"More Agressive/Normal/Less Aggressive"? Topic

So I keep getting mixed messages- on the player game plan screen, on your team, there is an option for "More aggressive/normal/less aggressive"

What does more aggressive mean?  Is it in relation to foul trouble of the player himself?  Does more aggressive mean he's pulled more aggressively after a foul?  Does it mean the coach tells him to be more aggressive on offense?  Or does it mean if the man guarding him is in foul trouble?  Thanks.

More aggressive means he will stay on the floor longer when in foul trouble.

This is correct.  "More aggressive" means as the coach, you'll try to let him play through the foul troubles.  "Less aggressive" means you'll bench him quickly when he's in foul trouble.  It doesn't have anything to do with the player and how he plays defense.

I wish Seble would make it a little less confusing to the new coaches and rename the setting something like "Keep Him In", "Normal", "Bench Him".  The way the settings are named now are always confusing to new coaches, and they really don't have to be.  It would be a very simple fix.

Ahh, glad I decided to glance over this thread. I also thought "more aggressive" meant the player would play more aggressively on defense despite the risk of fouls.

Definitely agree Seble should make this less confusing for us newbies...

Or maybe it should be moved to a depth chart setting- to me it doesn't make sense on the distro page.

+1
I can't remember if I had to ask or if I saw someone else ask first, but until someone posted it in a thread I wasn't sure either.
