1 140 Million Salary Cap - that should be large enough to make this a drafting strategy league

2 25 min, 33 max roster size - all players must fit under the cap

3 1 draft each season, you must draft to get to 25, you do not have to draft up to 33
  A) inaugural draft will be random, each owner will be given a number 1-24 based on owner rating at the time, then random.org will be used to determine the snake draft order - 34 rounds - including stadium choice
  B) all other drafts will be determined by record at the 120 game mark - bottom 6 are lottery eligible IF you have 30 wins - teams below 30 will be slotted 7th or later

4 Stadiums - must be a stadium in use in one of the 4 years we are playing - once you choose a stadium, it is yours until it goes out of service

5 Seasons - we will start with 1885, 1918, 1951, 1984 and go for 33 years, ending with 1917, 1950, 1983, 2016 - yes, 2016 - thats when i figure this league will wrap up

6 Trading  - you can only trade 3 years into the future with picks - so if playing the 1924 season, etc - only 1925,26,27 picks can be traded - as well as during the 25 draft, only the 25,26,27 picks may be traded - once that draft is over - then it rolls over to the next 3 seaons - HOWEVER  - no trading during the inaugural draft

7 no add/drop - there will be plenty of players - anyone picked that puts you over the 140 mil cap (unlikely) will go back into the draft pool

8 DH - YES - batters are batters, pitchers are pitchers - cap is big enough, plenty of players as well

9 IR - you do not lose a player who misses a season(s) - he simply goes on IR and does not count against your 33 man limit

10 - mistakes - if i make a mistake with the available player list, thats on me - if i am missing a name, and he is eligible to play that season and isnt on anyone else's team - then he is available - if i list someone, that is on a keeper list - that player is a keeper - again - my bad - nobody should have to doublecheck my work (let's hope i get it right all the time) - i am sure i may screw up now and again - it shouldnt hurt another owner

private invite - to longtime owners in other progressives

no - all 4 years we are playing each season are drafted together - no limit on how few or many from any one season

I believe Rob didn't bother writing it out, but to be exact he would have written

so if playing the 1891/1924/1957/1990 season - only 1892/1925/1958/1991, 1893/1926/1959/1992, 1894/1927/1960/1993 picks can be traded - as well as during the 1892/1925/1958/1991 draft, only the 1892/1925/1958/1991, 1892/1925/1958/1991 picks may be traded - once that draft is over - then it rolls over to the next 3 seaons - HOWEVER  - no trading during the inaugural draft.

ALL players from the seasons being simmed will be put in a common pool - so, in the inaugural draft, all player from 1895, 1918, 1951, and 1984 are available to be drafted at all times (assuming they haven't already been drafted by somebody else already.)
