about 9 months ago, WIS mentioned that they were improving the DiTR "a few points" to allow for more players to have an impact in the majors. I'm not sure anyone knew what that meant, but it didn't seem to have any effect on the typically crapiness of my DiTRs after every All star break. Well until this offseason; perhaps this is a fluke, or perhaps its a sign of things to come. Don't know, I didn't take much note of this, other than to mark him as a DiTR when he popped up. My AS is set to 0, so I have no idea what his projections are, he's going to see a bunch of passed balls, and he can't run the bases worth a lick, but as a left handed bat, he could make a pretty solid backup catcher, perhaps even more if his ST and offseason improvements hold form.

the 17 point jump in power over the offseason is what got him into the big league camp, and about 40 at bats in ST.
then he improved 4 in both his splits, eye, and pitch calling. I believe 3 points is the largest ST gain I've seen in the past, certainly nothing like this.
Has anyone else seen improvements like this to DiTRs in the past?
